For the midterm, you will not be responsible for:
Stuff specific to giardia
The digestive system
Protein Synthesis (DNA being copied to RNA) will be on your final, not your midterm.

Single Gene Traits

Here ya go. This is easy. Just circle the traits that you have.
VOCAB!
Dominant – Trait shows with either one or two traits (TT, Tt). Trait will mask the recessive trait.
Recessive – Trait shows only when both traits are shown (tt). Recessive is masked by dominant if dominant shows.
Homozygous – Both alleles are the same. (TT, tt)
Homozygous dominant – both alleles are dominant (TT)
Homozygous recessive – both alleles are recessive (tt)
Heterozygous – Both alleles are different (Tt)
Phenotype – the physical appearance of the trait
Genotype – the genetic makeup of a trait
